As I was handling Aili I noticed some grunting noises, I tried to listen to her chest but she move's around alot poor thing.

And just now I hear wheezing noises from her breathing.

What should I do?

Could it be that she just need's to calm down? She had a scare just now, she's a jumpy one...could this be what caused it?

Now it sound's like puffs of air when u pump air from a air pump and when she struggles she grunt's.

Do I make an appointment today or make one for tomorrow and wait and see if she calms down and what happens.

It's always a smart idea to get a vet to have a good listen to the lungs. Sometimes we think it's serious when it may not be. In this case though, it does sound like it's time to see a vet. When my rats start to sneeze or make monkey sounds as I call it, I wait for a day or two, then I start on meds. But I'm lucky because I always seem to have a sick rat here so I can start meds and then run the rat to the vet to get confirmation. Most people aren't so lucky and need to wait a few days for an appointment so best to make one now.

Instead of opening new threads, I'll update this one!

Well just back from the vet, Doc. Ives from the Cumberland Vet Hospital.
At first my Aili was seen by the nurse girl that weighed her and all, then as we were waiting for the Doc. Aili was in her basket grooming and boggling, I laughed (I can't believe she loves to visit the vet that much)!

Guess the Doc. found something in her airway passage's cause Aili's on Baytril for 10 days then I should be expecting a call from them to see how she is, if there is no improvement they will try changing her bedding and I assume we go from there.
------------
Now when they say they will switch her bedding, who pay's for that new bedding?

She seems better, no sneezing...still a bit congested tho.
Even on Monday when I took her too the vet, she sounded better then she was...the doc did not tell me what exactly she had, but there was a possibility of an allergy to her bedding or just a cold bug.

If you find there's an improvement, you should ask the vet for more Baytril. Tell him you feel it's working but needs to be on it longer.
