I took Amy in this morning for a follow-up (clean bill of health, too!) and during a chat with the vet she told me that she will be out next week for accupunture classes. She has a 5-week course and is pretty excited about learning to do this for the animals. She even said she wants to see if it is also good for the exotics, like rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc, not just dogs and cats.

I would be interested if it would help with HED, arthritis or other geriatric things that might happen to our ratty kids. Any ideas if it would help? My girls don't have any of those types of worries (yet) but it would be nice if this would help in the future.

I'm interested in knowing if this will work too, I may be doing a school project on this and if I do I'll post my findings.
I thinking that accupuncture may actually be the answer for HED.

i have seen the results that accupuncture can have on larger dogs like german shepherds, and it would be really good if it worked on rodents too :)
