Thanks for all your help, everybody... ya'll are awesome!! :hugs:
I do have a quick follow-up question re: my boys' respiratory infections. Slava seems to be doing really well-- his noisy breathing has calmed, he's quite active (considering Little Rat won't play with him) and is generally looking pretty good.
Little Rat on the other hand... although his breathing has quieted down, it still looks quite labored (i.e. I see his entire abdomen to his little face moving while he breaths). This seems to slow down when he's asleep. The vet said that his breathing was worse than Slava's, but I was hoping by day 5 of the antibiotics things would be looking a bit better. He's more spirited, but not playing as much. He spends a lot of time in my bed asleep. When I took him to the vet he was dehydrated (which he isn't anymore), and was barely eating and though things are going better, I'm still a little worried. :? Could he still be feeling down from Sasha's death?
As a rundown, they're both on baytril, doxycycline, bene-bac and metacam (neither of them took their metacam till last night... i'm hoping the second round tonight will help), and they've been on their medication for five days now. I've got an air purifier in my room and a bowl of water in front of it to help humidify the room.
If I could ask a bit more help, it would be greatly appreciated... I'm worried about my little-est baby! :sad3:
