Do hairless (double rex) rats have oily skin requiring regular maintenance, like a sphynx cat? Also, does anyone here have animal allergies and own hairless rats? How do they effect your allergies?

I was giving my son a bath today and noticed he has many tiny little orange specks all over his skin and his hair. Does anyone know anything about that? Should I be worried?

HI My male rat has red flakes on his back closer in the middle around the base of his tail. I gave him a bath to better see the flakes, they don't seem to be moving so I don't think they're lice or anything? Please Help!
